Today, you will hear from Kimberly Galloway about her work for FOCUS Youth, a juvenile diversion program. The program helps connect youth with suspected mental illness and/or substance abuse who are at risk or currently involved in the juvenile justice system with mental and behavioral health services.

She has a passion for providing adolescents with the tools they need to be successful and has a unique and special way of connecting with the youth and their families. Sharing similar backgrounds with the families she serves has resulted in her being more empathetic and gaining trust with vulnerable populations.
